Barossa Valley 2023
The Yarn Retreat – 2nd to 5th March 2023
Introduction
The Yarn Retreat will be returning to the beautiful Barossa Valley in 2023 and the Novotel. Both offer the perfect location and facilities for a long weekend of crafting, relaxing and mixing with like minded folk. The retreat will run from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th March 2023 and offer workshops with some of Australia’s best tutors in both knitting and crochet. This retreat is an opportunity to really spoil yourself as Novotel Barossa Valley is one of the premier accommodation options in the Barossa Region and I invite you to join me.
In addition to the wonderful workshops, there will be a variety of yarn retailers on site…for when you ‘need’ more yarn or supplies.
Full details of the workshops will be released at least 6 months prior to the retreat and those booked will have first option.
Venue: Novotel Barossa Valley
The Novotel Barossa Valley Resort is centrally located overlooking the vines of Jacob’s Creek and the Barossa Valley Ranges. With 140 accommodations rooms all featuring balconies you will be immersed in a beautiful regional setting.
Each package includes all meals in one of their fabulous restaurants or served to the workshop rooms, with the exception of Friday night dinner. This is your opportunity to chose your dining venue onsite or you may like to venture out to one of the nearby restaurants.

Tutors & Workshops
Full details of the tutors & workshops selected for 2023 will be available at least 6 months prior to the event. Attached is the program for 2022 which will give you an indication of how fabulous the program is and in 2023 it will be even better!
Retailers

Costs and Packages
LIVE IN PACKAGE - Inclusions:
The full packages include the following:
- 3 nights accommodation in a Studio Room (Single or Twin Share)
- Full buffet breakfast each morning in The Cellar Kitchen
- Buffet Menu Dinner Thursday and Saturday Night
- Lunch Friday and Saturday served in the workshop room
- Complimentary wine tasting each afternoon from 5 – 6pm
- Workshops of your choice (final details to come)
- The Yarn Retreat special edition gift pack
Friday night dinner is an opportunity for you to choose your dining venue, there is multiple options on site or you may like to venture out to one of the nearby restaurants.
Single room: $1380
Twin Share: $1050 (Bring a friend or I can allocate you a room buddy)

SINGLE DAY Retreat Package: $235

A deposit of $350 will secure your place at The Yarn Retreat (Barossa Valley), with the balance due by 1 August 2021.
FULL Retreat Package: $575
SINGLE DAY Retreat Package: $245
Booking Terms and Conditions:
A deposit of $400 must be paid to secure your booking for both single and twin share options.
Full payment is required for day visitors.
The following rules apply for cancellations:
- Cancellation after booking up to 31 May 2022 – deposit refund less administration fee of $100.
- Cancellation on or after 1 June 2022 – no deposit refund applies however your place can be transferred to a friend.
- Cancellation after 1 January 2023 – forfeit deposit and all monies paid.
In the event the retreat is cancelled or postponed, you have two options:
- All payments will be transferred to the new date.
- If you cannot attend on the new date, you may transfer the payment to any other Yarn Creative retreat.
If the event is cancelled by the organiser or venue, a full refund will be provided.
These terms and conditions are aligned with Australian Consumer Law and the owner reserves the right to change them subject to circumstances beyond their control.
